Coronavirus (COVID-19)

A note from Mark Danni, TheatreZone Founding Artistic Director

After being shut down since mid-March because of the coronavirus pandemic, we continue to assess this constantly evolving situation and adapt accordingly.

We thoroughly appreciate so many of you for taking time to participate in last month’s reopening survey. Your feedback is extremely helpful as we continue to form appropriate, responsible next steps toward reopening. If you would like to participate in the survey, please click here.

As we actively plan for our Sweet 16 Season based on current conditions, we are instituting reopening guidelines for all areas of our operations in order to resume indoor live performances this season. Again, these guidelines provide specific line-item mandates for all areas of operations, from stage doors, back of house, restrooms, common areas, dressing rooms, hair and make-up, to front of house (including our box office, ushers and volunteers). To view the guidelines on our website, please click here.

Finding a way to reopen TheatreZone during a pandemic of a respiratory virus is not easy for an industry with unique challenges, such as the reliance on social gatherings, physical proximity, and speaking loudly. However, we are moving ahead in the spirit of collaboration and determination, putting health and safety first.

We are incredibly grateful for your continued support. As a nonprofit, 501(c)3 professional Equity theatre, donations are critical to our success. While we are making every effort to maintain the safety and security of our teams and also reduce expenses, your support helps to ensure our future. If you are unable to attend this season but have purchased a ticket, please consider donating the cost of your ticket(s) to support us through this time.

Thank you for your patience as we move forward. Please email us at with any additional feedback or questions. We would love to hear from you.
